    Iron-Cross Blister Beetle Fiesta

    We found a bunch of these iron cross blister beetles clustering in the low grass early one morning while photographing some sidewinders.

      I was searching for blister beetles and your image came up. What a beauty!!! I would love the opportunity to photograph one. Was this in our area?

      Kinda! It was way out West of us, South of Wickenburg in the flats North of the I-10. Every bush was full of them.
