After a long day of hiking a little over a year ago, we found a longnosed snake (Rhinocheilus lecontei) under some trash. It was about the happiest I’ve ever been to see a longnose!

Wish I could get one of those on mice in captivity. They may be common, but they’re pretty.
Oh ya they are often quite pretty. The nicest I’ve ever seen was in Texas, just South of the NM border to the East of El Paso.
