      Wow, I’ve never seen or heard of this rattlesnake before. At first I thought it was a boa. Thanks for sharing.

      Gorgeous little guy. willardi has always been one of my favorite rattlesnakes, and your photos are beautiful at capturing their grumpy-yet-wonderful personalities.

      I won’t give anything too specific (more than any field guide would), but willardii can be found in the mountains in the Southern part of the County.
